The brightest midnight sky can only be found in the most desolate place on earth; Antarctica.This frozen tundra’s midnight sky is illuminated by pure reflection giving off a deep navy color. This unique color is the foundation for our forthcoming project with American Outdoor company The North Face.
The “Midnight in Antarctica” series is a three piece collection paying homage to the earth’s rarest location. In this refreshing collaboration, you will see a menswear approach and design aesthetic to three classic The North Face shoes: The Thermoball Traction Mule II, The Back to Berkley Redux, and The Ultra Extreme II GTX. Each shoe was carefully designed to represent the midnight sky, the deep black foreground, and the white snow filled landscape. The seamless transition from the city street to the inner depths of the earth has never been more prevalent until now. Welcome to “Midnight in Antarctica.”

Last week the team was fortunate to come together with Onitsuka Tiger to launch a release party in Shibuya, Japan for our latest collaboration. With a two story level store, we put together a visuals gallery shot by our friends over at Teamcozy on the top floor. The event was filled with good vibes from media press coverage, distributors, and friends from all over Japan. Check out the images below!

New England born company Timberland, worldly renown for their flawless craftsmanship in outdoor apparel and footwear, teamed up with Publish Brand to introduce a limited collection of the Chelsea boot and the classic Oxford silhouette.
With the concept of merging West coast style with East coast functionality, these pieces feature the best of both worlds.
To celebrate the recent release of the “Reinventing California” collection, the two brands came together at the beautiful Timberland shop in the heart of bustling downtown San Francisco on Saturday, November 7th.
Here, any inquires of the brands or the collaboration were happily answered by Publish’s CEO, Timberland’s Senior Footwear Director, and other members of the team. They took the time to sign shoeboxes for any desiring fans who purchased a pair from the collection, while surrounding guests roamed the shop enjoying complimentary drinks, hors d’oeuvres and the warm ambiance.
Available in the traditional wheat and timeless black leather, the shoes were elegantly displayed front of shop for those who wanted to get a real feel of the West coast design aesthetic and the premium East coast weather-proof quality. It’s no surprise that the shop sold out of the black Chelsea boot by the end of the 3 hour event.
As the successful night came to an end, the teams connected over bringing this collaboration to life, their experiences in the industry and truly getting to know one another. Not only is it important to share a sense of camaraderie among the brands, especially executing a huge project as “Reinventing California,” but to meet the people who support the vision and getting to know theirs is essential in continuing on “Today for Tomorrow.” The exchange of ideas, gratitude, love and support filled the shop, exuding positive vibes throughout.

Extra Butter partners with Reebok for the 25th Anniversary of the Ventilator. 1990 marks the birth year of the Reebok Ventilator, as well as the start and rise of “Street Meat” food vending, a delicacy which remains a New York City staple and Extra Butter favorite through the years.
Executed on a buttery, premium, euphoria nubuck upper, Extra Butter’s “Street Meat” Ventilator takes it’s design cues from Halal food plates; mixing appetizing elements and colors that point to lamb, chicken, falafel, lettuce, yellow rice, and of course the infamous red sauce and white sauce. Extra Butter takes the gritty element of NYC food vending and spins it with Reebok for a luxury feel that both highlights the Ventilator, and pays proper homage to the delectable dish that “Street Meat” truly is.

We recently released a small collection to coincide with the release of our Vans x Publish Brand Breton Boot, called “Lost Control.” Inspired by the post-punk movement of the ’80s, the selection highlights monochromatic color themes throughout the offerings. We had the pleasure of working with photographer Zhi Wei in shooting some amazing photos for this collection. Zhi is a fashion photographer based in Singapore and NYC. See more of Zhi’s work here.
We had the pleasure of bringing our release party with Vans out to Hawaii in late October. Being two California brands, we could have easily thrown a party out here in Los Angeles but why not try something new? We decided to bring it to big island of Oahu and we brought some friends with us to throw the party down! Check out some photos below from the event night. Finally all the buzz and excitement manifested into reality last weekend when the Publish Brand crew took flight to visit our account Kicks Hawaii for the official in-store release of the Publish x Vans OTW Breton Boot. The event kicked off at 1pm on the 26th of October in Honolulu with talented DJ Delve and Dam-Funk on the turn tables. With the entire store grooving to funky jams, the event ended on a great note with our team, the Vans team, Kicks HI, friends, family, Publishers and shoe lovers connecting about the highly anticipated release of this premium boot.
The intricate details of this Breton definitely need a second look. Don’t be fooled by the boot’s simple colorway. The excellent quality and execution of this boot is the reason why Kicks On Fire named the Publish x Vans collaboration “Boot of the Year.” The clean colors selected for the design compliments any outfit, making it a staple in everyone’s wardrobe. The black nylon upper is water-resistant for every day wear, while the white leather mid-sole contrasts the rest of the boot for aesthetic style. The back panel is reflective constructed of 3M materials to make you pop, when necessary. The perforated neoprene tongue and collar paired with an UltraCrush HD and Vibram sole adds great comfort to this exclusive fall boot.
To help Extra Butter with their journey to the moon, we worked on some collaborative pieces that is perfect for moon walking.
First is the Jemison anorak that is engineered from lightweight nylon with reinforced seams, hooded and waist drawstring, and a zippered pocket at the chest. With its Neapolitan colorblocking of its “Space Snack” Shadow Master, the Jemison Anorak is the epitome of form following function.
For a second trip to the moon, we released two new additional pieces. The Alexios 5-panel camper and Hadfield raglan, both feature black night sky print details next to the grey scale moon crater. The 3/4 sleeve Hadfield raglan is a lightweight stretch comfort material perfect for moon walking. It features a removable velcro Publish Brand and Extra Butter branding.

Atlanta’s powerhouse retailer Wish has once again teamed up with Southern California clothing brand Publish for their annual collaborative capsule collection entitled “The Isolation”. The concept behind the collection started as few sketches on a napkin during a lunch meeting. Both brands wanted to create and exhibit their interpretation of fashionable sportswear that is wearable and versatile in any climate. In the ever so classic black, nylon and ripstop were the selected materials to represent this up-and-coming movement. The end result is something truly organic and unique.
The capsule collection consists of five solid pieces. The ‘Lathem’ is a zip up shirt with nylon sport paneling, extended scalloped back, and small collar. The ‘Amzi’ is a pair of sport Jogger Pants with nylon paneling on the knees. The collection rounds out with the long sleeve jersey top, paneled shorts and a tonal bucket hat.
