AXS Folk Technology Pop-Up Shop

AXS Folk Technology is an innovative men’s clothing based in Los Angeles. AXS is the brain child of forward thinker Kyle Ng (@farmtactics). Yesterday was the opening of their high anticipated pop- up shop. Inside the store, was a slew of super unique pieces matched with odd world furnishings and trinkets. The overall vibe of the shop was very welcoming and easy to shop. We wish this was a permanent space! Take a look below and see exactly what we mean….

BENNY GOLD RELEASE PARTY

Look Ma! We made it!

Last Friday we had the opportunity to travel up to San Francisco as a team to celebrate our collaboration with Benny Gold! The turnout for the event was phenomenal and the store was set up beautifully for the release party. Nothing says a great party like friends, family and free beer!

If you didn’t know how this collaboration came about, we have been friends with Benny for a long while now but never thought we were ready to work on a collaboration together. After four and a half years, we finally thought we were ready to pull the trigger. San Francisco is known for its foggy conditions and this was how the signature ‘Fog Camo’ came about.

The Fog Camo was placed on the water-resistant ‘Van Ness’ 3/4 length hooded parka jacket, ‘Shotwell’ brushed twill shorts, ‘Guerrero’ Pants, and ‘Valencia’ bucket hat.

Collection still available in limited sizes and quantities here.

Swing by the Benny Gold flagship store if you’re ever in San Francisco! 3169 16th St. San Francisco, CA 94110

We displayed a gallery exhibit which was shot by Trash Hand. Definitely check out this work  because his perspective is definitely on point!

PROJECT/WORKROOM 2012 LAS VEGAS

Take a look, it’s MAGIC…

Another season, another Magic. The recently concluded MAGIC trade show in Las Vegas went off without a hitch. The trip consisted of (very) late nights and early call times. Publish along with hundreds of other brands got the chance display our vision for Spring 2013. Magic is where you see all the latest trends and products from all the different brands in the industry. At the after parties you also get to mix and mingle with all the trade bigwigs, media, buyers and other brands. It was great to see all the familiar faces and meet new ones as well.

BUT… we’re exhausted and with the trade show season dwindling down, we are finally getting a chance to get clear out our minds and start preparing for our upcoming season. Looking back at the recent show we definitely feel blessed to be apart of the whole experience! Check out some of our photos from Project/Workroom.

X-GAMES x MYSPACE CONCERT

Mike Shinoda, Publisher.

Last week a few of us from Publish were invited to a private concert for the X Games at Club Nokia in Los Angeles thanks to our friends Mike Shinoda and Linkin Park. In front of a thousand fans they rocked out with their past chart toppers and then went into their 5th album titled “Living Things” that topped the Billboard charts this week. Mike was seen sporting our “Sullivan” short sleeve chambray shirt for the performance. The whole set was also streamed live onto Myspace for everyone to see. Congrats to these guys on everything they’ve accomplished and check out their new album in stores now.

The Sullivan shirt as well as the rest of our Summer 2012 collection is available now at our Publish shop.

AGENDA & ATTIC EVENT RECAP

Cheers to the New Year!

Our 2012 hustle officially kicked off last week and what a week it was. It started off at the bigger than ever Agenda tradeshow in Long Beach, CA where buyers got a glimpse of what the top surf, skate and streetwear brands will offer in their upcoming seasonal releases. Amidst the chaos the Publish crew was on hand and excited to showcase our Summer/Fall offerings.

Following the success at Agenda day one, we could hardly catch our breath as we transitioned to our Jogger Pant release party the same night at Attic in Buena Park. The event went by without a hitch as friends and family from all over came to party with us. Having this kind of event is always great because it gives us a chance not only to see some familiar faces and catch up, but also establish new relationships to exchange ideas and inspire one another. Amazing food from the Burnt Truck and the feel good music of DJ Sourmilk and WendyCity had the Attic popping off.

We would like to say a thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by, visit and support Publish Brand. A new year is unfolding for us and big things are in the works. Stay tuned for what we have in store.

THE JOGGER PANT RELEASE PARTY!!

Busy, busy, busy!

With Agenda creeping up right around the corner, Publish has been churning out project after project. Our newest development comes in the form of an event for our signature Jogger pant at The Attic in Buena Park. The event will be held on January 5th from 7-10pm for people to mix, mingle and strike your best “magnum” pose with a pair of joggers on at our photobooth. For the event, Publish will be releasing 3 new styles of “jogger” pants that will only be available for sale at The Attic on this one night only. There will be music from our friends DJ SOURMILK and DJ Wendy City along with food offered by The Burnt Truck. We are extremely excited to see you all as we kick off the New Year in style!

NIGHTS ON NIGHTS ON NIGHTS

Three nights with two of the most influential entertainers of our time.

Kanye West and Jay-Z just wrapped up their long awaited Watch the Throne tour this past week with three shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The concert received all positive reviews from the elevating stages, to fire erupting through the floors, and the amazing display of lasers. Mr. West wore a black leather kilt and white war paint, while Hov kept it pretty simple with his classic Yankee cap and American flag bandana. The two opened the show with H.A.M and ended the night with 10 encores of Night In Paris, breaking the record they held in Chicago of 9.

It is amazing to see how much time and dedication these individuals put into their production. They have so much passion for their craft that it truly puts all other shows to shame.

“We’re living our dream in front of you, Los Angeles. Know this shit is possible.” -Jay-Z
